Beginning September 15, WBAL, the Hearst-owned station in Baltimore, Md., will expand its newscast lineup with the debut of WBAL-TV 11 News At 7:00 P.M.
The newscast will be co-anchored by Jason Newton and Ashley Hinson, joined by meteorologist Ava Marie. This all-local newscast will follow NBC Nightly News with Tom Llamas.

This newscast will follow the powerful half hour of NBC Nightly News, fitting seamlessly into the evolving schedules of our loyal viewers, while delivering a key audience valued by our advertising partners.”
Meteorologist Ava Marie will join Chief Meteorologist Tom Tasselmyer during the afternoon and evening newscasts, at 4:00 PM, 5:00 PM local time, as well as WBAL-TV 11 News at 10:00 PM on MeTV Baltimore. Additionally, meteorologist Alena Lee will join Baltimore’s morning news team, Lacee Griffin, Megan Rivers, and Sean Streicher, on WBAL-TV
11 News Today, airing weekdays from 4:30-7:00 AM.
In conjunction with the launch of WBAL-TV 11 News at 7:00 PM, Inside Edition will slide to its new time period, airing weeknights at 7:30 PM.
With the 7:00 PM newscast expansion, WBAL-TV 11 will now produce 42 hours of local news each week.
