This Sunday, April 28, starting at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT, Telemundo Station Group, which consists of 30 stations in the U.S., will livestream the second Mexican presidential debate across the stations’ websites, apps and OTT platforms, and on the Telemundo regional streaming news channels: Noticias Telemundo California, Noticias Telemundo Florida, Noticias Telemundo Noreste and Noticias Telemundo Texas.
The candidates participating in this debate are Claudia Sheinbaum, from the official coalition “Sigamos Haciendo Historia”; Xóchitl Gálvez, from the opposition coalition “Fuerza y Corazón por México”; and Jorge Álvarez Máynez, also from the opposition “Movimiento Ciudadano.”
Moderated by Mexican journalists Adriana Pérez Cañedo and Alejandro Cacho, the debate will cover key issues, including economic growth, employment, infrastructure, poverty, inequality, climate change and sustainable development.
The debate will also be available on Noticias Telemundo’s social and digital platforms including NoticiasTelemundo.com, the Noticias Telemundo app, YouTube, Facebook , X, Instagram and TikTok. Following the debate, Noticias Telemundo will present a special, Noticias Telemundo: Mexico 2024 La Hora de las Mujeres Debate Presidencial, starting at 12 a.m. (local time). It will be hosted by anchor Julio Vaqueiro live from Mexico City.
The Telemundo regional streaming news channels are free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) products available on leading streaming services and connected TV (CTV) platforms nationwide that provide 24/7 local news, weather, investigative and consumer reporting, and original content.
