Pinterest is a useful tool that clothing brands use as a “co-branding platform” in order to communicate with consumers. This study attempts to determine the overall effect that Pinterest has on clothing brands.
Researchers discovered that a co-branding of a Pinterest page “combines the strength of partner brands, in order to increase value to brands, attract new customers, and validate the brand among consumers. This co-branding ultimately helps to increase brand awareness while increasing the flow of consumers to the company website.
