The Foundation of The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATASFS) has announced its accepting entries for the its 2023 Scholarship Programs.
“The Foundation of the National Academy of Television Arts & Science is proud to introduce our scholarship offerings for this year,” said Doug Mummert, chairman, NATAS Foundation. “Working with our generous donors, we continue to provide a wide variety of scholarships to those seeking an education and career in television. We look forward to another year of meeting these young leaders and seeing their highly-regarded contributions and work.”
“The NATAS Scholarship Committee is thrilled to once again offer this financial assistance to deserving students who represent the future of television,” said Melinda Roeder Skrbin, Chair, NATAS Foundation scholarship committee. “Our team of judges is consistently impressed with the scholarship and creativity of entries we receive from students across the country. Their work is worthy of recognition and support.”
These are the distinguished national scholarships awarded to outstanding high school seniors planning to pursue television-related baccalaureate degrees:
The NATAS Norman Feldsenthal Trustees Scholarship ($20,000): Awarded to a student pursuing a career in any aspect of the television industry.
The McKenzie Family Scholarship ($20,000): Awarded to a student pursuing a career in any aspect of the television industry who demonstrates a financial need or hardship. The recipient must be enrolled in an accredited college program that is at least two years. The award will be distributed as $10,000 per year for two years.
