Graham Media’s Detroit NBC affiliate WDIV (Local 4 News) will open Fourgrounds,” a one-of-a-kind coffee shop experience” coming to downtown Plymouth, Mich., in September — “where community, connection, and trusted journalism come together, one cup at a time,” the station says.
“Fourgrounds is where trusted news and everyday life intersect,” said Bob Ellis, WDIV vice president and general manager. “We believe journalism should be accessible, approachable, and part of the community’s daily rhythm — just like a great cup of coffee.”
At Fourgrounds, the station says, “you’ll find more than just expertly brewed coffee. In partnership with Great Lakes Coffee Roasting Company, Fourgrounds will serve exclusively brewed, locally roasted coffee that perfectly complements a space designed to spark conversation, fuel curiosity, and bring the news closer to the people it serves.”
“Great Lakes Coffee is genuinely honored and beyond excited to partner with WDIV to bring this uniquely engaging coffee bar, event, and broadcast space to the people of Plymouth and the surrounding communities,” said Greg Miracle, president-founder of Great Lakes Coffee Roasting Company. “Our greatest passion is bringing people together over a truly great cup of coffee and to this end we will be brewing and serving our full portfolio of locally roasted coffees, locally brewed cold brews, and hand-crafted specialty drinks, all guaranteed to keep this space buzzing like none other.”
