AHCJ-CDC Health Journalism Fellowship
Fellows spend a week studying public health issues at CDC campuses in Atlanta.
Arthur F. Burns Fellowships
Two-month fellowship for US journalists to report from Germany for their news organizations.
Chronister Fellowship
Supports reporting projects focused on K-12 education with a grant of up to $10,000.
Climate Media Fellowship
Offered by the Heinrich Boell Foundation, fellowship covers travel and honorarium for a research trip to Europe to report climate or energy stories.
Council on Foreign Relations Edward R. Murrow Press Fellowship

McCloy Fellowships in Journalism

Metcalf Institute Fellowships

National Institute for Health Care Management (NIHCM) Foundation

Nieman Fellowships
Journalists with at least five years of experience spend an academic year at Harvard. Each fellow is free to design an individual course of study.

The Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute at New York University offers this award to support journalism in any medium on significant under-reported subjects in the public interest.
Stigler Center Journalists in Residence Fellowship
The University of Chicago Booth School of Business focuses on business journalists from around the world interested in deepening their understanding of the interactions between politics and the economy.
USC Annenberg Center for Health Journalism
Reporting grants of $1,000-$10,000 and 4 1/2-days of intensive training on health issues for journalists whose news outlets commitment to publishing an ambitious health journalism project.

Please include the nation’s oldest writing program for journalists, The Alicia Patterson Journalism Fellowships. There are 12-month and 6-month fellowships for print reporters, photographers to pursue in-depth stories. Stipends are $40,000 for a year; $20,000 for a half year. Deadline is Nov. 1st each year. http://www.aliciapatterson.org
