TV NEWS RESEARCH
One of NewsLab's goals has been to serve as a bridge between television
newsrooms and academics doing research about television news.
Academic
research into how viewers learn from television news often is written
in such a way as to be of little use to working journalists. So
we've helped to translate the results of academic studies into
a more useful form for professionals. A summary,
updated in August 2005, is available, as well as a full bibliography,
updated December 2008.
